I’m Ker, an SEO and AEO consultant, and the founder of Ker SEO.
I work on both engines that matter now: ranking on Google, and getting cited when people ask AI like ChatGPT, Claude, Perplexity, or Google’s AI Mode for a recommendation.
10+ years in SEO. Clients across the US, UK, Australia, Canada, Singapore, and here at home.
How I got here
I started in SEO back in April 2015, as an intern doing link building while finishing my ICT degree at Cebu Technological University’s Argao campus.
Technical SEO was the part that hooked me, the “why does this actually rank” question, more than the content side of the job.
A few in-house roles at Cebu-based companies followed. By December 2018 I had enough client work of my own to go independent, and Ker SEO grew out of that.

Why I work on both engines
Search split into two channels. People still Google things and click a link. But more and more, they ask an AI assistant for a recommendation and just go with the answer, no scrolling, no comparing.
Most SEOs are still only working the first channel. I work both, which means the same technical foundation, the same entity signals, and the same content depth now have to earn you a place in two different kinds of results.
That shift is why “SEO” and “AEO” sit side by side in how I describe the work, not as two separate services, but as one job with two outputs.
